These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of private hire and airport transfer services by Schon Transfers through the website https://schontransfers.com. By making a booking or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms outlined below.
Schon Transfers operates in accordance with applicable UK private hire transport regulations and acts as the principal service provider for all bookings made through our platform. The contractual agreement for the transportation service is between the passenger and Schon Transfers.
By completing a booking through our website, phone, or any other booking channel, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
1. Bookings
Passengers must ensure that sufficient time is allowed when booking a vehicle, especially for airport transfers, to account for airline check-in requirements and possible traffic delays. Schon Transfers cannot be held responsible if a passenger misses a flight or appointment due to insufficient time allowed. Passengers are responsible for selecting an appropriate vehicle based on the number of passengers and luggage. Any special requirements such as wheelchair access must be specified at the time of booking.
2. Prices and Payments
All prices are based on the journey details provided during booking and may change if there are modifications to the itinerary, passenger numbers, or vehicle type. Airport pickup fares include up to 45 minutes of complimentary waiting time after the official flight landing time, after which additional waiting charges may apply. Payment for airport transfers is generally required in advance and can be made using accepted methods such as debit card, credit card, bank transfer, or other approved options.
3. Passenger Responsibilities
Passengers are responsible for their conduct during the journey. Eating, drinking, and smoking inside the vehicle are not permitted unless agreed with the driver. If the vehicle requires cleaning due to passenger actions, additional cleaning charges may apply. Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that children travel safely, and passengers may provide their own child seats if required. Vehicles will not carry more passengers than permitted under licensing and insurance regulations.
4. Cancellations
If passengers need to cancel a booking, they should inform Schon Transfers as soon as possible. Cancellation charges may apply depending on the time of cancellation and whether the vehicle has already been dispatched. Airport journeys may be dispatched in advance of the scheduled arrival time, while local journeys may be dispatched shortly before the pickup time.
5. Liability
Schon Transfers will make every reasonable effort to ensure passengers reach their destination on time; however, the company cannot accept liability for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, including traffic conditions, accidents, road closures, or severe weather. Luggage is carried at the passenger’s own risk unless damage occurs due to proven negligence. In the event of vehicle breakdown or unforeseen circumstances, Schon Transfers will attempt to arrange an alternative vehicle whenever possible.
6. Right to Refuse Service
Schon Transfers reserves the right to refuse or terminate a journey if passenger behaviour is abusive, unsafe, or likely to cause damage to the vehicle or risk to the driver or other passengers. In such situations, the journey may be terminated without refund
7. Data Protection
Any personal information collected during the booking process will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws and will only be used for booking management, communication, and service delivery purposes.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising from the use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
